The Advice Journey

Advice can be provided in person (face to face), either at your home or place of work, or our office. Alternatively, we offer Virtual and Phone based advice for a 50% lower charge.
A collaborative approach is adopted throughout our advice process, which will have either three of four elements to it, depending on whether you wish to benefit from Ongoing Service, as the graphics and descriptions below, demonstrate.
Initial Call: A complimentary initial phone call to see how we can help you, explain how we work and ensure you will benefit from our services.
Discovery: To provide you with considered advice, we need to understand your current personal and financial situation, your aims, priorities and risk profile. We’ll ask you to complete a Financial Planning Fact Find as the starting point of this process, so we can both use our time well and prepare properly. After our Fact Find Meeting or Discussion, we’ll send you Scope of Work, just to be clear on the agreed next steps and to confirm our charges.
Advice: After completing our research, we’ll provide a detailed Advice Report explaining our recommendations and the reasons behind them. We’ll then arrange an in-person, phone or virtual discussion to talk through the report and answer your questions.
Implementation: We’ll usually set up your financial plan for you, including liaising with existing providers and arranging any new financial products.
Ongoing Service: We usually recommend ongoing advice and service because most clients tell us that they value regular contact with their Adviser. This includes an annual update on whether you remain on track to meet your goals, how your plan is performing against recognised benchmarks, and an annual review discussion or meeting, based on the service level chosen. Clients who prefer one-off Transactional Advice can also opt-into receiving ongoing service on an ad-hoc basis, as and when required.
